Description
Cala d'oro, or Cala d'oru is a rocky cove, sheltered from the winds of South and West. The beach consists of pebbles from the river of Cala d'oru; such pebbles are sometimes covered with a mineral which gives highlights to the color of gold. Access by boat is safe from the south of the creek, the Punta di oru, for the north is a dangerous pitfall. This creek, included among the remarkable sites of the Corsica coast, has retained its authenticity and is renowned for its beautiful underwater often explored by divers.
