Description

The Italian Association Città del Vino, that today counts a national network of more than 500 members (Municipalities, Parks, Mountain Communities, Wine Roads and other subject with a strong vocation for wine) operates to support and develop the quality of productions and territories in Wine Cities, through initiatives of safeguarding, development, promotion and information. In particular it enhances the value and safeguards a quality vine growing, old vines, architecture and traditional farming methods, landscape, typical products without MGOs; sensitizing and involving directly people in safeguarding and caring their territory as a common property; promoting the culture of moderate drinking and a proper diet; giving a solid contribution to implementation of Art. 5 and 6 of the «European Landscape Convention », implemented by the Italian law (Law n. 14, 9 January 2006).
