Description
The Balearic Museum of Natural Science, located in a modernist small palace of the beginning of the XX century, houses collections of zoology, botany and geology of Mallorca. On the grounds surrounding the building, we find the Sóller Botanical Garden, as a center of conservation, research and knowledge of Mediterranean flora and especially the Balearic Flora. It has a large collection of native species from Mallorca, the Canary Islands and other Islands of the Mediterranean. The garden is a bustling boom of trees, plants and flowers, which multiplies in Spring, coinciding with pollination. The visit is a present for all the senses. Both spaces were opened to public in 1992.
